    Our family has been farming wheat in the foothills of Eastern Oregon for over 70 years, and now we're passing some of the goodness on to you!  We plant, grow, harvest, clean, and pack this wheat ourselves.  No outside service or middleman.  My wife uses these wheat berries whole or to make flour and we use them in our recipes all the time.  Sproutable!  They will germinate and grow for making sprouted dough, or wheatgrass for your juicer.  Hard Red Winter Wheat has a moderately high protein content is good for traditional yeast breads.  Protein content of our wheat is 11.8%.  We grow our wheat without the use of desiccants.  Like all wheat grown in the U.S.A. ours is Non-GMO.
